In a world constantly moving forward, it’s heartwarming to know that some hearts never forget where they came from.

On a bright and hope-filled day in September 2023, the Jose Abad Santos High School (JASHS) Class of 1971 marked their Golden Jubilee with more than just laughter, reunions, and reflections. They came bearing a legacy—a gift not just to their alma mater, but to every young Kapampangan student who will walk the halls of Pampanga High School in the years to come.

With P2,000,000.00 turned over to PHS, the Class of ’71 funded the construction of a state-of-the-art computer room, a space that will soon echo with the tapping of keyboards, the quiet hum of discovery, and the dreams of hundreds of students being equipped for a digital future.

“This is more than just a room with computers. This is a bridge—connecting the past to the future, the alumni to the students, and golden memories to lifelong impact.”

The generosity of the JASHS Class of 1971 is not only admirable—it is monumental. In a time when many public schools face challenges in providing quality digital education, this initiative is a powerful statement of faith in the youth and in the school that once nurtured their own dreams.

For many students, especially those from underprivileged families, this computer room will be their very first access to technology, to global learning, to opportunity. And all of it—every mouse click, every lesson learned—is made possible by a group of alumni who chose to give back, to uplift, and to invest in the future.

A Lasting Legacy

The Jubilee Project stands not only as a building within the campus, but as a testament to what alumni can achieve when hearts are united by purpose. It’s a reminder that while we may leave school grounds, the values and connections we build there never leave us.

To the JASHS Class of 1971—your generosity will be remembered by every student whose life you’ve touched. Your legacy is now etched into the very foundation of Pampanga High School.

And to all alumni reading this: may this story inspire you. The time to give back is now. The students of today need us—just as we once needed those who came before us.
